Getting Started

How to get started:
You have already started! Your visiting this site speaks to your heart and indicates the depth of your vision. It's obvious that you can no longer continue in the tired old methods of yesteryear and you are ready to begin connecting people to God and each other. We recommend the following:

First, get and read the book "Connecting Points". It can be obtained in the resource section of this site. Embrace the seven principles that make up Connecting Points and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart concerning His vision for your church.

Then, equip yourself with the tools necessary to be successful in implementing Connecting Points in your congregation. We recommend that you get the Connecting Points Implementation Kit. This is an all in one tool that has every thing you nee to get started and follow through to fruition.

Here's how we can help:

IMPLEMENTATION TOOLS

We offer a broad array of tools, such as training material, high quality graphics, sermon resources and other helpful products to implement the Connecting Point Ministry in the local church. You can obtain these resources through this web site or call our toll free service center.

CHURCH WEBSITE
We offer a powerful Web site that will allow your church to better connect with the local ministry, each other and the community. We use unique tools such as online church directories and Connecting Point Magazines to help the local church fully integrate the Connecting Point Ministry. This Web site is template-based and can be maintained and managed right from your home or office. Our technicians will handle set up and support making this an easy and flexible process.

COHORTS
What is a Connecting Points Cohort? A cohort consists of church leaders from a particular geographical area that come together six times in the course of a year for intensive training in the arena of relational ministry. The cohort experience allows for interaction among leaders that is both insightful and encouraging. Each meeting provides leadership training as well as tools needed to change the culture of a church and make it more relational in its approach to communion (connecting to God), community (connecting with each other), and evangelism (connecting to people out side the church). As a member of a cohort each church will receive: leadership training for relational ministry, full implementation tools for starting Connecting Points group ministry, rapid mobilization tools for training leaders, and a church website to connect your church with your community. We are presently holding cohorts in several different areas and plan to start others in the near future. If you are interested in joining one of these cohorts, please contact us and we will get you involved in a cohort near you.
